    Never seen these before--anyone recognize them? Homebrew/modified or factory original?

    891A with a "Heppner type" 4 x 10 horn and port added.

    IMO, a cobbed up mess that is more a work of deception than an improved speaker.

    I thought it looked to be modified/homebrew--another "Frankenstein" case for the SPCA
    (Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Altecs)......
